Marlene Nwoye Presents FML Evenings at Divo London

Nigerian born Marlene Uche Nwoye started her career in Entertainment in London. She attended performing arts classes from a very young age and had the unique opportunity to model for major brands such as Nokia and Eco Bank, and also had various TV acting roles in Sugar Rush, Dr. Who and many more.

After graduating in International Business in New York, she decided to go back to her creative roots to explore the world of Entertainment. Since then, she has worked for MTV Base, Global Music and Management, Itku PR, and Ibo Media, holding titles such as PA, Production Assistant and Programme Coordinator, before moving on to her role as Presenter with La Petite Media, co-hosting fashion makeover programme The Raffia Show, which airs on BEN TV.

Marlene definitely has many strings to her bow; however the one she is most passionate about is her music.

As a singer and songwriter, she was formally in an R&B girl group called Soul Symphony. Together they worked alongside Mark Nelson from the U.S sensation Az Yet, also with producers such as Blao (in Sweden), So Solid´s JD and supported artists like Musiq Soul Child at the famous Shepherds Bush Empire and many other top venues. They drummed up great interest from major labels Universal and Sony BMG before sadly splitting due to creative differences.

Marlene continues as a solo recording artist under the stage name Gloe. Her material has already featured in motion picture Life N Lyrics staring Ashley Walters.

With her positive attitude, artistic abilities and unique Gloe, Marlene is here to set a standard and is destined to have a big impact.
